MoeryLAI Year In Review

Here is a look back on MoeryLAI's first calendar year.

April 1st - MoeryLAI opens its doors.
Conducted CEO seminar on trends in associations with LAI's Don Neal.
Started the Association Supplier Roundtable with Jim Zaniello and Dave Scypinski.
Raised more than $390,000 revenue for our clients.
Hired Elizabeth Johnson as MoeryLAI's first employee.
Launched our first seminar, "Business Development Strategies for Associations."
Completed allied member research project for leading transportation association.  CEOs find allied members are providing member dues relief, innovative education content and new streams of volunteer talent.
Facilitated eight Association CEO Luncheons, with great chief executives like Tom Kuhn, Steve Sandherr, Joel Dandrea, Joe McGuire, Evan Gaddis and Larry Graham.
Lost an orginal client.  However, a "bad day" inspires us to improve the core business and provide new service lines for 2011.  Move forward.
Made more than 5,000 calls on association clients' behalf.
Provided services to 18 associations in our first eight months.

MoeryLAI had great help along the way.  Elizabeth Johnson is helping grow and improve the business as employee number 1.  My business partner Mark French is a great mentor.  My wife, Diane, gives me the support every entreprenuer needs from the home front.

It was a great year, and quite an adventure.    In 2011 our services and infrastructure will expand. I'm hopeful we became a better business every day...next year demands it.
