Association are assessing the status of associate programs. Primarily these vendors and suppliers have been "second class citizens" to the core membership for years. But, recently, you see the trend of this community becoming increasingly important to the association.
1. Supplier membership growth provides dues relief to the rank and file members.
2. Suppliers in many industries are the innovators, providing great content for educational sessions.
3. If the above occurs, then revenue opportunities grow for business partnerships, sponsorships and education.
