Association Leadership Blog - Introduction

Over the last twenty years I've spent a great deal of time thinking and talking about associations and what makes them tick. Additionally, I tried to execute some ideas and try innovative strategies that worked...and failed. This will be the story about those ideas.

Additionally, I will discuss some of the news in the association business and what can be learned from it. My goal is to be frank and fair, and not to "pile on" those organizations with challenges. By the way, every association has its own set of problems, and many of them are similar. They just don't wind up in the paper Monday morning.

My hope is this blog becomes a dialogue on successes and failures in the association business and what could be learned from those experiences. Let's dive in...JP
