My MoeryLAI colleague, Elizabeth Johnson and I were discussing some of the real junk we hear (and say ourselves) in conversations about sponsorships, memberships or presentations about what we do.

Having said them all more than I admit, I've decided to go on a diet...trying not to say these phrases which frankly don't mean a heckuva lot...to me anyway.  Please send me your own and we will keep a running list.

synergy - real meaning> working together like you should have in the first place.
innovative - come up with a new idea every once in a while.
solution based - since you can't figure it out, I'll do it for you.
dynamic - loud and obnoxious on occasion. Or, we will try some crazy stuff you haven't thought of.
integrate - someone is going to get in the middle of your soup, and you probably would not have let them if it was up to you.
servant leader - I'll take the leader part.
